Cost Plus World Market (CPWM) started in the late 1950s by a San Francisco businessman turned traveler and importer who began selling shiploads of hand-woven wicker from one of the city’s piers. More than fifty years later their passion is still to discover extraordinary finds from all over the world and make them accessible to all. Since its opening more than four decades ago, the CPWM’s product categories have expanded to include: furniture, pillows, lamps, floor and window coverings, frames, baskets, garden, collectibles, tabletop and kitchen accessories, along with gourmet foods and wines.
