Position Summary

Amplifi Project Managers work with our internal and external teams managing the scope of projects from creation to launch. The Project Manager has 5+ years of experience working with software implementation and / or consulting services, managing project budgets, teams and timelines. The ideal candidate is a natural, team motivator and leader with the ability to communicate across a wide range of personnel and clients.

Essential Responsibilities / Characteristics

  • Manage project scope, timelines /schedules, budgets, teams and reporting for internal projects and external client teams
  • Implement MDM / PIM projects on platforms by producers such as Winshuttle, Stibo, Redpoint Global, Salsify and more
  • Establish clear project parameters supporting and enabling the success of all internal and client team members
  • Develop, maintain and execute project plans throughout the full life cycle according to established procedures, processes, and expectations
  • Work closely with the project team throughout the project to refine deliverables to meet quality expectations
  • Oversee client relationships on a daily basis, providing creative solutions and managing their expectations
  • Work closely with the Business Unit Leaders to identify and explore opportunities to cross-sell services and expand account footprint
  • Participate in new business presentations, effectively communicating company and solution capabilities while executing business development efforts such as contract generation or negotiation, project scope completion and SOW creation

Necessary Skills / Attributes

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience for consulting services and / or software implementation (MDM and PIM) preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience managing projects with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to identify and quickly resolve issues, mitigate risks, create work plans / schedules as well as lead team and client meetings
  • Successful history of client relationship management as well as setting and managing client expectations
  • Understand and manage daily tasks and provide structured, direction to peers and direct reports
  • Ability to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams, including user experience, creative, and software development professionals
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to lead projects proactively
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
