Position Summary

Amplifi’s Information Management Practitioners work with our customers to develop effective Master Data Management solutions and to help them leverage technology to deliver high quality, complete and consistent master data as the foundation for achieving the goals of their digital strategy.

We are looking a Data Architect that wants to be a part of our growing Information Management practice. Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to take direction and work independently are extremely important.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evangelize MDM best practice with clients and partners
  • Lead and participate in requirements gathering
  • Analyze and document systems, data sources and transformation requirements for effective enterprise data modeling
  • Identify and document current state and future state architecture
  • Design and implement integration strategy
  • Build and implement business processes and governance models that help clients achieve business objectives
  • Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows using the firm MDM tool
  • Provide subject matter expertise on data architecture, data migration, and integrations
  • Help clients develop and implement Data Quality Management practices and tools
  • Write detailed functional design specifications
  • Configure MDM software to meet client requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues

Background / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering or information management
  • Experience gathering requirements
  • Experience with data modeling concepts, data and system integration, master data management
  • Broad understanding of data management technology platforms and systems with deep experience in at least one
  • Ability to conceptualize and plan at an enterprise level
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively document solution to be understood by technical and non-technical people
  • Knowledge of development lifecycle management principles
