Le Chateau was ready to begin selling online but concerned about how best to emulate the in-store experience to provide a greater degree of seamlessness. Le Chateau customers often shopped for a look based on merchandised displays in the stores. The same experience needed to be available for online shoppers, along with the ability to easily and intimately browse the complete catalog. Amplifi provided the eCommerce strategy and technology capabilities to create and implement a roadmap for this greenfield client.
Amplifi began the engagement by creating a new user experience and design featuring a complete “shop-the-look” experience for customers. Additional custom features included advanced promotions engine functionality and a feature that allowed the shopper to keep track of savings and promotions in real-time to maximize savings for the customer, and increase conversions for Le Chateau. An integration with Scene 7 to reduce costs and provide advanced image management completed their eCommerce solution.
An updated look, built on the Oracle Commerce OnDemand platform, launched a new revenue stream for the business. On-going support was provided by Amplifi Commerce, optimizing performance as the number of customers increased.
