Leveraging Personalization in B2C & B2B
Beachbody embarked on an ambitious multi-phased initiative to create a more robust technology solution to support its network marketing business and provide an eCommerce platform that could scale to support all of its various Beachbody web-based experiences. Beachbody desired a more dynamic and flexible means to execute marketing offers and promotions. In addition, they were looking for a platform that allowed the business to have greater direct control over the design and implementation of customer experiences without as much IT intervention.
The primary goal, the program’s Phase 1, was a re-platform and decoupling from Beachbody’s legacy ecommerce and genealogy platforms. By leveraging Oracle Commerce’s promotions engine and business-user centric management of pricing allowed Beachbody to overcome promotion, pricing limitations, and SKU proliferation issues inherent with their legacy systems. Through the use of Oracle Commerce’s personalization and multi-site capabilities, Amplifi architected an extension ecommerce solution to encompass Beachbody’s B2C and B2B business models.

Amplifi business architects collaborated with Beachbody merchants to re-structure the architecture of select Beachbody products using Oracle Commerce’s kit and configurable SKU capabilities reducing SKU proliferation and simplifying price management.
Integrated ATG with ByDesign for payment authorization and order creation.
Amplifi collaboratively worked together with multiple other vendors through the Define, Design and Develop phases including Element Solutions (WCS/CMS), OSI (EBS), Deloitte (Program Management), Accenture (Technology Integration), Aurionpro Sena (CIM/OAG), ByDesign (Genealogy & Compensation), RealPie (UX Design/Comps), and Informatica (PIM).
Extensive Define & Design work across the program resulting in the scoping of 3,500+ high-level business requirements.
Delivered custom business logic to support a ‘Not for Resale’ purchase model for Coaches, as well as dynamic Terms & Conditions agreements based on the product(s) ordered.
