Faced with a poorly optimized platform that couldn’t effectively support customer needs, Rock/Creek needed more than a vendor to host their existing implementation. They needed a true eCommerce partner with the technical and business expertise necessary to take them to the next level.

Our Approach

Rock/Creek initially engaged our Managed Services department to review the existing code base, take on the existing backlog of bugs, and provide some additional enhancements. After preliminary repairs to their mobile site were completed, our internal creative services completed a site audit, including some suggested redesigns to optimize the cart and checkout flows. After Managed Services developed the new design assets, they moved on to implement SEO-friendly URLs and enhanced tracking integrations. A successful PayPal integration to the checkout and customer service components of the website completed the list of successful site enhancements. Amplifi’s rapid response to identified bugs, coupled with the quality of our business, technology and creative services, convinced Rock/Creek that they had finally found a long-term partner capable of completing new business deliverables, including a platform upgrade and additional enhancements to their mobile site.

Results

User experience and usability were improved, reducing abandonment and increasing the overall satisfaction with the website.  With the support of Amplifi Commerce’s Managed Services organization, the client was able to focus on running the business rather than dealing with the stress of a malfunctioning eCommerce experience.
